Bar Lina
The future of a heritage brand
In the basement of their historic deli in Soho, Lina Stores saw an opportunity to create something new; an intimate bar where meticulously sourced Italian ingredients are turned into creative cocktails that celebrate innovation and craft.
While Lina Stores is built on the respect for heritage that runs deep in Italian culture, Bar Lina explores the pioneering spirit of late 20th Century Italian design, fashion, music and art. The interior design was influenced by a 1972 MoMA exhibition 'Italy: The New Domestic Landscape', which was instrumental in cementing Italy as an epicentre of modern furniture design.
As well as designing the interiors we worked with the Lina Stores team on the overarching brand strategy, rooted in the idea of 'Italian hospitality meets local culture.' Through collaborations with like-minded brands, DJs and creators, Bar Lina acts not only as a showcase for Italy, but a champion of local talent.
